How I use technology

I thought a good follow up to robocop's post would be to note down the most common technologies I use in my walk with the Lord.

First up, I use a Ultra Mobile PC for my Bible software and notes.  One of us will be writing more on these things in the future (two of us own them), but for now I'll say that this is a huge deal - I have my entire library with me where ever I go as well as all my notes.

I generally use Logos as my Bible study software.  I use this extensively for preparation for home group as well as my daily time with the Lord.  I also use a Windows Mobile Pocket PC Phone - specifically a Palm Treo 750v at the moment loaded with Laridian Pocket Bible.

I also use RSS for tracking a few key blogs that I watch.  I use NewsGator server along with FeedDemon (yeah, I don't like the name much either) and NewsGator Go! for Windows Mobile.  This allows me to keep up to date with feeds wherever I am and also synchronizes my feed reading status between my devices.

I also listen to MP3 copies of sermons from the likes of John Piper, John McArthur and others.

Those are the main things I use.  I also have a bunch of peripheral apps and devices I use, but more on these another time.  Each of these pieces are a news item on their own, so one of us will deal with how to use each of these things and why they are useful over the next few months.
